Google Play Services update

Is everyone's S25 Ultra stuck on July 1st Google Play Services update? Mine is unlocked on AT&T. I've tried clearing data and cache and uninstalling updates, but Google Play Services still won't update. Am I missing something?

I'm on September play system, just periodically check manually for updates they can be behind Google's pixel at times

There should be an update soon hopefully before Thanksgiving but these updates are not like software updates so it's hard to tell.

It will eventually update, there's no great way to get it to update and definitely not worth clearing its Data for play system to try to get the servers to update.

I'm glad you posted this. I was just coming here to ask this exact question as I noticed I'm stuck on August on my unlocked 25+. Anything I can try to at least get to Sept as it seems most people are at? Even my tab s10 is at Sept. Why is there such a disconnect?

I cleared cache and date from play services as suggested and now when I check for a play services update nothi g happens. Doesn't even go to a new page and checks. It just does..... Nothing. Anyone help? Still stuck on August and now it doesn't even check anymore. Also the play store won't fully load either. Wtf? All I did is cleared my caches.

Still no luck and my op watch 3 lost complete connection with my phone and had to be reset after clearing play store and play services cache. Wtf?!

Yeah like I mentioned isn't worth clearing it data, it's a server side nothing can be done to make it arrive faster.

That would be something different if stuck in July. Happens to some... happened to me... when I had an Ultra and it was stuck months behind the rest.

Interestingly enough, my Note 20U Android 13, just updated to November 2025. My s24U is still on September.

I'm not complaining, it's just a little surprising.

yep just got done reading from phone same website so they suspend google play system updates to avoid potential issues one ui updates that's crazy so this is reason why stuck on sept update as the story tells they claim will be a new one sometime this month lets see what happens meh

I have Samsung S25 and S21 FE, both with Android 16. I have not received any recent updates for Google Play Protect for some time. On the S25 the latest update is August 2025, for the S21 FE it is October 2025.

Is there any reason for this?

This article should explain it. Samsung has been doing some fine tuning. Updates will hopefully resume soon...

I'm hoping also. My s24U is on September 2025 & my Husband's s24U is on July 2025.

If I had to choose, I'd rather the updates be late than pushed through & causing problems with OneUI 8.
(At least that's what I'm telling myself.)
