I'm on verizon and have 7.3.28 I got my phone on release day . The 11th . And I manualy update all my apps and go through them before I do and I never seen the update unless it updated when they first turned the phone on at the verizon store on the 11th. It's also not in my update history. Maybe it was already on my phone.

Verizon here too. Got mine delivered on the 10th and have version 7.0.99.

I'm not having any battery issues on my phone, so will wait for the update to be pushed to my phone rather than trying to sideload the .apk file linked above.

I took a screenshot to show you guys but everytime I try to insert photo into my post it says unfortunately Tapatalk has stopped working . Can't get it to work.

Here is my screenshot.

I'd say this update has improved my battery life a little. Not that it needed improving, but I'll take it.

After using it for a few days I'd say it helps nicely; though if you don't currently have an issue with Google Play Services eating though the battery or you've disabled most of the stuff that uses Google Play Services it likely won't have any effect.

Performance while connected to WiFi has improved greatly and performance while off WiFi has improved some. It seems like when you leave a WiFi connection it just defaults to "You're moving? Must track you everywhere now! Where are you?!?!' mode and it starts chewing battery life. Still an improvement though; when I pull it off the charger my estimated time has jumped from 16 to 18 hours to 20 to 22 hours.

Something that this new version does now is that for all of us with Android Wear (Smart Watches) the persistent notification in the Status Bar is finally gone, thanks God.

Same here and I can see an increase in battery life already, although I was already getting between 5-6 sot. A lot of people just install the APK's without waiting. They are updated constantly and this one will take a couple weeks before its all rolled out.
I got tired of waiting. Went ahead and installed. Guess we'll see how my battery life is

Cool. With that battery life I'm just curious, do you have location services on?
