OMG THANK YOU!... My googly play store hadn't been working for weeks, I did this.. btw.. in my phone it was just called "application installer" and as I scrolled all the way to the bottom under "all" applications.. I found this was disabled. When I enabled it, play store finally worked!.. I'm so glad. Thanks a lot

Hi, you may find the app is named just "Downloads", make sure to scroll to the end of the app list and start searching there.

same problem, but nothing worked ... tried every solution online including this one (several times) what worked for me was - I uninstalled my most recent apps, which happened to be Puffin and Firefox ... the second Firefox finished uninstalling I started getting google play notifications, and all is good now. So if you're still stuck, try uninstalling some more recent apps that might be interfering for some reason.

Am not able to access by play store and few apps are behaving weird.also i dont find download manager in my nexus 7 settings>apps. i can see google play store and its running.
