I'm having problems installing updates and apps for my phone. Every time I try to update an app it will go through the process then an error will pop up saying that the update/ app can't be installed at te default location. I tried restarting my phone and using 4g instead of wifi and I still get the error code. If there's a way to fix this problem without loosing all my progress in the games that would be very helpful

Welcome to the forums. This is going to sound really strange, but go to Settings>apps>menu>reset app preferences.
Sometimes this helps with Google Play issues.
