I don't understand, nothing has changed for years (in the UK at least, maybe this is something in the USA?) - you've always been able to update all apps at once. You just go Play Store > My Apps > Update all?

I think previously if you hit "update all," they all got updated, but one by one. Now they all update simultaneously.

That certainly would be a step.

Next would be a consistent design with the rest of Android/Google apps, get rid of the new crap bloated design. Blacklist app updates/hide from store. Maybe add 1 or 2 previous versions and allow downgrading (yes sideloading but I'm talking simple here).
FORCE REAL CHANGELOGS FFS. Google is probably more guilty than many dev there.

None of that crap is useful. If I had to chose one of my gripes or would be changelogs.

Edit; Live on my Shield Pro (2019) running Android 9 [because 11 was butt and slow.]

This new feature finally tackles a long-standing hassle in the Play Store. Before, updating multiple apps on Android meant waiting for each one to finish individually, which was a real time sink.

Can't say this has ever been a issue for in practise as you can still use your phone - other than occasionally you may need to restart a media app etc which gets updated while in use.

Can anyone give a real life example of this being a hassle?
