Trying to use my google play and all I am getting is a white screen, any idea why? :'(

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean the Google Play Store, or one of the other Google Play apps like Music, Books, or Movies?

Try going to Settings>Apps>All, select the app that isn't responding, Clear Cache and Force Stop, then try again. Also try rebooting.
