Google quick search not working properly.

I don't know if this problem has already been posted but i couldn't find it.

I've had my M9 about 6 months, about a month ago i started having problems with google quick search, if i swipe up from the home button and start typing or talking i get about 3 or 4 words in and everything i've typed/said disappears and i'm left with a blank bar and i have to start again and then it's ok. It happens every single time. I've started just running my finger randomly over the keyboard till all my words disappear so i can start typing what i actually want to! I've cleared the cache, done a full factory reset, i've not installed any dodgy apps, but i'm still left with the same problem. The whole point of the quick search bar is that it's quick and efficient but this glitch is just making it slow and annoying. Does anyone please have a solution to this problem?

Same problem here on my previous phone (Galaxy S5) and current new phone (Galaxy S7). Would love advice.
