Google raising the price of YouTube TV - AGAIN

Just got an email in parents inbox. Google is increasing the price of YouTube TV for the second time this year by another $10/month.

This pricing is now no longer worth it.

Yeah I don't see the value. They are/have been structuring it like Crapcast too charging extra for 4K and 5.1 among other things. Looks like cable could make a comeback.

That's seems to be where they will be pushing many. Especially Netflix, what am I supposed to subscribe forever to be able to watch movies that they never release physically or digitally for sale? Eventually I'm going to get tired of paying but want to watch a movie I've more than paid multiples times over for.
It's just like delisted games, if you're not going to sell it anywhere, what else are you supposed to do?

I'm going to convince them to cancel personally and tell them for the few shows they watch to be patient and just buy the digital copy or disc when the series release. For the rest, get an antenna. 4K OTA lis free provided you're close enough.

I'm glad I don't watch sports. There isn't anything I need live streaming for, so just Netflix is all I need.

Yeah I got that email about YouTube TV as well .
Not sure how much longer I will keep it now.
Same with Amazon Prime, since I don't order much from them anymore

They are extending the 72.99 a month price for 6 months for some on Youtube TV. I read this ,,,this morning. They mentioned it here

I requested a phone call just to be sure I could get this discount . They checked and said that was available for me. They sent me a Promo code via text message with the code and I just followed the steps . At least that gives me 6 more months at the $72.99 price .

At least I can get that more time til I decide what I am going to replace with.

Me neither but I was getting it discounted until I realized I wasn't (when I applied the discount code and saw it was dropped). So sort of a double F-U from Google.

Google has lost its way harder than Disney did with Snow Woke.

This officially marks the last Google product in my household and am finally free of them.
