Google RCS on OP?

Has anyone seen RCS reach their OP7P in the US after Google's announcement this week? That's without any of the workarounds.

I did, or tried to at least. Sometimes it shows as active and other times it basically says not available...

All while connected to the same wifi network during the same time period.

Personally I wish this was something I could get more excited for, but since most people I know are on iOS it's not like I'd be able to take much advantage...

When you think about it (and I know that this is not truly feasible for many reasons), its really sad that there's not one singular really-awesome messaging app that was cross-platform, that everybody used. How simple things would be!

I think they launched in the UK because we have more Android users than iPhone users. The US has more iPhone users than Android. Most people I speak to have RCS now.

Just had chat features roll out to me today. Only one person in my list of message threads seems to also be on RCS. More than I expected lol.

It's been working for me. I had no one to use it with for a few weeks but now it seems it's on with Moto phones with near stock Android as my mom and sister have it now. A few random friends I noticed it's chat now not text. Some of them not really tech savvy so I would think not all have manually set up the chat settings.
