Went in to watch a concert movie I bought from Google play and its no longer there. I downloaded it to my nexus 7 and thats gone also. No emails from Google to why this was removed. So i had to email them. If I had a phone number I would of called to chew them out. #1 I payed for it not rented. I had it for a few months. It was there last week. I went to today gone. To me #2 that is stealing from me. Its in my purchase history and not all i see it a wish list. I didnt pay much for it but still its the point of taking something off my tablet and not saying anything to me. I have been trying to avoid buying a ipad cause I love my tablet, but if google is going to continue to do stuff like this then I might have to make the move. anyone have this issue??

Welcome to Android Central! That sounds really frustrating. My guess is that it was a licensing issue--maybe the contract expired, and the record label decided not to renew with Google. I suggest contacting Google Play support by going to this site (https://support.google.com/googleplay/?hl=en) and clicking the Contact Us button at the upper right.

thanks I am already on it. They need to let people know whats going and return their money to them not take and not say something. (sigh) I have had no issues with google play but this.

What movie? Perhaps some of us can check to see if it is available to us in the play store.

I was reading about a similar issue with iTunes - you could purchase a video or album, but if their license with the company providing the video ended, you could lose access to it. Uploaded media, however, does not disappear if a license ends. I could see this becoming a major point of frustrating for a lot of people.

Are you running multiple accounts on the tablet? I have 3 different email addresses loaded on mine and sometimes Google Play Movies doesn't run on the same account as the Play Store. When I buy from the Play Store, I have to go to the Movies app and switch to the proper account.
