Google search box bug

I noticed strange, but annoying behaviour of my browser on Inspire 4G. When entering text into the Google search box at http://google.com the browser treats the search box as a password field and hides all characters. You can work around it by disabling predictive search input, but that's not optimal by any means.

Has anyone else come across this bug? Do you know of any solutions?

Thanks!

i just noticed this last night. what i did was to open a new window and go to google. then close the window where google was showing the password type information. the new google window then worked fine for me. does that make sense? i have google set as my home page, so that made it a little easier i guess. open new window, go to home, then close the old google page.

are you rooted with a customer rom? if so, you have to type in the browser:

about:blog

then hit settings and goto UASTRING > then choose iPhone
