Google search widget keeps disabling. WTF?

My Google search widget keeps disabling. The mic stops working and the search function doesn't work either. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? I can uninstall the Google app and reinstall it. It temporarily works for a short random time (hours), then it just stops again. Is this a Google issue or is it something I'm doing wrong?

Mine stopped working for a short time yesterday, but I think I was having wifi issues. The rest of the time it has worked great.

I thought it was a wifi issue as well. Then, I opened up Chrome browser and was able to search for anything that way.

The whole google app sucks on this phone. Ok google detection doesnt work half the time..Open the app and it just sits there thinking. Something I used a lot on my pixel. Between that and the blurry photo thing, I think it's going back.

I had this happen the other day a simple restart fixed it and it hasn't happened since.

Restart the phone is the only thing I can tell ya.

Ok, so for me I uninstalled and reinstalled the Google App about 5x. So far, it's still working. Knock on wood.

Doesn't work consistently for me. Also there is lag when when tapping certain icons on the home screen. unless I can find a solution I'm going back to my pixel
