Google Services Framework crash and goolge sync

Lately I've been having a problem with my samsung fascinate running cyanogenmod 7.2.
randomly, google services framewprk crashes, then a bunch of google apps (calendar, play store, contacts) crashe along with it, and sometimes facebook as well.
I've found out this is due to some data corruption in one of my syncs, and it can be fixed by clearing data from google services framework and the android contacts and calendar storages and disabling autosync.
it works, but once you sync again, everything starts crashing. so the only way to stop is to disable autosync.
but when I restart, autosync is always set to ON despite the fact that I set it to off before rebooting or shutting off..
This is driving me crazy, soneone help me..

Also, Clearing data on goole serivces framework is only a temp solution and it crashes intermittently afterwards..

I hjad the same problem. Following the steps in this Google Product Forum page fixed it for me:

Google Groups

Problem was Facebook for HTC Sense messing up trying to sync my contacts every time.
