I posted in the gingerbread lockup thread yesterday about this issue, but I made a little breakthrough in figuring out the problem, and I'm not so sure it's related to the original place I posted.
I was having major problems yesterday and the day before with "the application google services framework (process com.google.process.gapps) has stopped working" error message popping up all day long -- along with the phone freezing and resetting itself.
Anyway, the major breakthrough I had today was I uninstalled the Google + and stopped getting the error message, until I opened Google Talk. Then I got the message again. The Talk application I have came with the rom I'm running (ACS ICS vol 5). and I can't uninstall that. I don't really want to either.
Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks in advance!

I have Google Talk running all day on my phone with ACS ICS v5.5 (had it on v5 as well before I upgraded) and I never had this problem. You may want to backup your data, do a complete set of wipes and re-flash the ROM and see if that fixes your issue. Also, I'd suggest installing the apps fresh from the market and only restoring your user data (definitely not system data). That should give you a clean installation and as far as I know what you're reporting isn't a known bug with ACS ICS. Good luck.

You can try wiping the data off of the Market. It got rid of the error message plus any fc's for me for good.
