Google sync wiped all stock calendar events, how can I restore them?

I was using the stock calendar on my galaxy s5 for some record keeping and I finally needed to download the information. My friend said to simply sync Google Calendar so I can print it. I synced it and now ALL my information is GONE! I don't know what happened. My Google calendar is empty, Hotmail calendar is empty and stock phone calendar is empty. I really need this information off my phone! I had an SD card in it - does anyone know were this information would be stored via folders? TIA

Welcome to Android Central! Syncing your Google account shouldn't touch the Phone account calendar. Open the Calendar app and go to the settings. What accounts are listed there? Are you certain the Phone account calendar (probably called something like "My Calendar") is set to display (rather than being hidden)?

Check Google Calendar . That's what the Calendar (not the Hotmail calendar) on the phone syncs with.
