Google syncing

[AC Question]

My pc (XP) keeps syncing to my Moto X. Isn't all of this activity going to cost me money in regards to a data charge? How do I stop this and sync manually only.

Welcome to Android Central! How is your PC syncing with your phone? The phone shouldn't be able to sync with your PC over mobile data--that generally requires a USB cable, although some kinds of PC sync programs can use bluetooth or wifi.
