Google Talk always crashing

If I log into talk it will either crash within a few moments, or crash shortly after I go back to home screen. Cannot figure out why.
After it crashes, I cannot go sign back in, I have to restart the phone.

Suggestions?

Try to do hard reset, wipe everything and start over, this can help, did you do the update?

Make sure you are not running "Task Managers"..

I am not running any task managers. But I did go to the system update and did a profile update, and that seems to have fixed it. Odd huh? This was a problem from the very beginning. Thanks all!

Hmm, nope, problem still there.

Id do a full wipe, but that sounds like a pain in the ass / last resort solution

I have a LG Optimus T that i've had for little over a week and had the same problem with the crashing shortly after launch.

this coincided with my phone giving me messages about how the disk space was very low.

This was dissapointing considering I had the phone for all of 5 or so days,
but I deleted off angry birds and angry birds rio (around 40 mb or so)

and the problem went away

a full wipe IS NOT needed, but disk space seems to be

I am currently working on figuring out how to install apps on the SD card to limit my normal disk space use

Or you could always try to clear data next time if it doesn't work.
