Google Talk LED notification

Am I crazy, or is the google talk "IM notifications" setting tied to LED notifications? I am using google talk more and don't want the LED blinking all the time. I have it off for everything else, but it seems to kick back on when I enable IM notifications in google talk.

Anyone else seeing this?

Weird...I have yet to get my LED to light when I get a message.

Update: started working tonight.
