Google translate and G Board Pixel 10

This morning my G Board translate from English to Thai has stopped working.. Google Translate is working fine as a standalone app but GBoard will not translate in any of the apps I use.. nothing has changed on the phone as far as I can see.. I've reloaded the language.. I've deleted and loaded G Board.. but nothing seems to change.. I have a good WiFi signal..
Is this likely to be a temporary glitch or has something changed that I am not aware of . ..

I know there's been a recent update to Google speech language in the play store have you updated it?
