(Forgot to add, I'm interested in the logitech revue)

I'm out in the boonies and on "extended dsl" so my max speed is 512k. In looking at the ads for dish/googletv I can't determine if I can use it with my "broadband" connection. I know I can't do streaming due to my low speed but it looks like with the googletv/dish setup you can tell it to record to hd dvr for later viewing instead of doing the streaming thing.

My question is; with the googletv/dish setup, can you tell it to send everything to the dvr for later viewing? Including netflix, youtube, hulu, movies, etc.??

Any insights greatly appreciated.

I don't believe it will do what you're thinking it will do.

When it's saying it will record things to the DVR for later, I believe it's only referring to stuff on DISH in the future.

Form what I understand, you can do a search for a show via Google TV. When you click on it, it will show the next few times that show will be on (on your DISH programing). Right from that menu, you can choose to record it.

I know this seems all too basic, but with DirecTV you are not able to do this.

I have not used GTV on DISH, but I'm pretty sure that's what they mean.

Anyone else have something to add.
