Google TV/Movies & Chromecast

I've been exploring buying some TV shows through Google Play instead of Amazon as it is a little cheaper. These are mostly shows from Bravo for my wife. I've tested buying a couple of episodes, but there is far more buffering than I would have expected, and the video is a bit choppy.

Youtube works without a hitch. Tab casting is great. I've got no network problems (locally or internet) that I'm aware of. Yet content from Google Play isn't really up to snuff. I'm curious if others have this working well or not, or if anyone has any suggestions.

No problems here and I use Play movies fairly frequently. I usually get maybe one 5 second period of buffering in a 2-3 hour movie. My network speed is 24 down 3 up.

Thats using my Nexus 10 over hdmi and my Sony NSZ-GS7 Google TV box.

i played couple of Google Play movies and it worked just like Youtube

I've streamed quite a few movies via Play Movies without issue, and one or two with those buffering problems. I never could identify any cause, so unfortunately it might be up to luck or depend on the content itself.
