Yeah, that's NOT what I have at all. I see nothing that says "number preferences" there. At least not on my phone.

Yup, thats a nice feature not sure why it took them this long to implement it. It now also lets you search for and insert gifs from the keyboard itself.

It was the one thing I hated about G-key. I'm using it now anyway and can live with the long press numbers.

I still haven't seen the update also. I downloaded the apk to see what it was like but I deleted it cause I wanted the real update. I'm getting so annoyed waiting this long.

APK Mirror has the update if you can't wait for Google Play to update it. It is called GBoard now

I emailed the devs for Textra (same developers as chomp) about this. I believe we will see an update soon that'll fix that.

Whoops. Strike my prior response. The new update just came through. Everything is as you said. I just didn't have it yet! And yes, it is called Gboard

Yes... the official name is now GBoard. This is the same as the rebranded keyboard they pushed over to iOS a few months back. Not sure exactly why they bothered though.

But the new functionality is awesome... it allows for the dedicated number row that some have always been asking for. It supports mutli-language, the enhanced emoji and gif support, and how they integrated Google Search into the keyboard is really clever.

There are fewer and fewer reasons to bother with something like Swiftkey.

Also for those who have not received update, I was in the same boat, I did however go to settings, and clicked on search/check for update, which prompted my download...It never auto popped on my screen like the first update for us in Nov...Hope this helps...Have a great weekend.

Notice how Swiftkey themes are all free now in addition to the app itself.

I bought and used Chrooma for the number row and other features. I'm back to Gboard (also it is stock on my phone)

Well, I think that had to do with Microsoft coming to the conclusion that a few bucks in revenue isn't worth the hassle of keeping the themes paid. Farming all that precious user data is far more valuable than a few themes...

And remember, unlike Google, Microsoft can and will sell your data to partners
