Google USB-C to 3.5mm Adapter

I've misplaced my original adapter that came with my Pixel 2XL. Do I need the Google OEM replacement, or will other similar models/brands work?

I recently read an article that the Apple USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter will also work. You can get them at Apple store or Best Buy.

Razer's adapter works as well, but it seems to be no longer available. I could use one more, hopefully folks will post up some known working quality options. The one I need will get carried in my pocket, so the white one from Google would look terrible in a few days.

You can also use the adaptors from Apple, Essential and Razer.

Except that if you buy the Apple adaptor you have to install iTunes on your phone for it to work.

I would be selective as to which ones. I’ve bought some off of eBay and they were trash.

Yes....also some might just be pass through adapters that work for Moto devices

Ive had google replace my adapter twice and I still cant listen to music with it.

I'm beginning to think its my phone.

It's your phone, it's a known issue.

It's your phone, it's a known issue.

There was a known issue where the dongle would not work intermittently but that was addressed through an update. Not working at all makes it a hardware issue specific to a defective device.
