Google Voice Action to send text message not working

When using Google Voice actions saying "send text to John Smith you're an idiot" should send a text message to John Smith with "you're an idiot" as the body.

However, no matter what combination of things I try I always get a blank To field and in the message body I get "to John smith you're an idiot."

Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions on how to get this working right?

I also have this problem. I have failed to find a solution, but will post here if I do!

Go to market.. search for voice search... and click install/update.

Oh.. no idea if this will work. just a shot in the dark.

Yeah I use Voice Search (also launches with long-press Search button, which is convenient), and I've never had problems with it.
