Just an fyi since you guys dont have an sd card and need to side load your apps I suggest you try a program called androidcommander it will install apk's, transfer apk's flash recoveries or anything that needs to be flashed as well as a file manager for your tab or phone... Nice piece of software... Android Commander

of course. also supports bluetooth, so you can use any bt headset as well

I've tried the xoom version on my galaxy tab, however, it turns out a forced close of the GV. can't configure at all. Btw, is using Verizon a problem or the galaxy tab a problem?

I was on a flight last week. I used Google Voice and GrooveIP to carry on a 40 minute conversation 10,000 feet in the air!!! Excellent.

No. GV works fine on a WiFi Tab 10.1. Use the APK I posted a bunch of pages back.

Only if you want to make voip calls with your tab. If you are just checking (google)voice mail, there is no need for Groove IP.
