Google Voice Network Error

In the last few days the Google Voice App on my T-Bolt has been draining my battery. I logged out of my G-Voice account and tried to re-login but when I tried to launch the app it locked up my phone. so I rebooted my phone with the same results. So I removed the app, rebooted my phone, reinstalled the app went to login and now it says that were is a network error. tried to cancel the login and the app responded really slow. I've had g-voice for a long time and this is a new issue. Everything is working as expected. Is anyone else have issues with the G-Voice app?

G-voice app always does something weird, once I didn't use it for like 2 days and it was using 63% of my battery.

I've never had such problem with GV on my Droid.
