So here is what I want to do. I want to have a separate phone number that will ring to my phone (without having to get a whole other cell phone) and be able to see that it's not my personal number. I don't want it to go to my personal voice mail either. Can Google Voice accomplish this? Or any other suggestions? Thanks!

Also, voicemails left from people who call your Google Voice number would go to your Google Voice mailbox, while voicemails from people who called your cellphone directly would go to the carrier's voicemail.

I guess my issue is how do I get Google voice to ring to my phone separately. I have yet to figure that out. So far it rings, but never on my phone and goes right to voice mail.
