I know I should know this since I have Google voice, but is there a way to have gv handle your voicemail on your native vzw phone number, essentially taking over your voicemail or do callers have to use your gv phone number for it to go to your gv voicemail.

And if so, how do you do it, forward all calls to gv, or use the app, or just change the settings on the GNex voicemail settings...

Thanks

Yes you can do that, I do. People call my Verizon number and Gvoice handles the voicemail. Setting it up was... a bit complicated..lol. Check around here https://www.google.com/voice/b/0#voicemailsettings , read the help, etc. I remember it took me maybe a half hour the first time to get it up and running but I was able to do it on my own, sorry it was like 8 months ago so I don't remember the exact process or anything, but it wasn't that hard, just a bit confusing.

Dude, just log on to your GV from a PC. There is a option for that very thing. I belive it sends you a txt with a link. It's super easy.
