Google Voice Search app...does the new functionality work for you?

Really looking forward to using the new voice commands, and some of them work (navigate to...open web pages, etc) but any commands that reference my contacts do not. Am I the only one? Do my contacts have to be synced with gmail or something?

Check Menu -> Settings -> Search -> Searchable Items and make sure People is checked.

Hmmmm. I've only used the "Call" function within BT Hands Free to access contacts and that works.

I just tested with Call, Locate, People and Find, all came back with web searches.

E-mail Name Message does not populate the To field. It puts the name in the Body of the message like Text does.

Kinda disappointing.

Navigate seems to work well.

But I don't want Google to have ALL of my life, just the selected pieces I've already mortgaged. I?ll pass, but thanks for explaining why it does not work. I?ll just chalk it up to ?it?s there but not for me.?
