Google voice search results in a blank page

About a week ago I started noticing that every time I do some kind of a search on my Galaxy S9 Plus, the result page always comes up blank, I can tap on the page and get results but I just can't see them. I turn off my phone and sometimes it'll work and sometimes not, I've cleared the data in my Google app I've cleared the cache in the Google app as well. I did the same for Google Chrome at but it keeps happening. I will give more information if needed but does anybody know how to fix this? Thank you

Just to be sure -- this only happens when you're using the Google search app, and not when using the Google search page on your browser?

as I previously stated, I did clean the cache and the data in the Google app. That did not help. I don't know what you mean by the Google app in the search browser. I click the Google Assistant button and say what's the temperature in Kansas City or something like that and the results page comes up completely blank.. I would enclose a picture of what I'm talking about but I'm not sure if I can do that on this site. Thanks for your help

Did you do it in that order ,With Force Stop? Not meaning different times

Clearing data and catch clears out old data , while force stop kills the app , as it never really gets to stop only the process does , so when a app acts funny this is the proper way to handle it after a update to it or OS update , It might not work but let's try this way first and then we can try other steps .


Edit: force stop ,clear cache then data is the proper way , but I found my way to work as well above effectively.

those suggestions did not work. And now I find that Google Chrome flickers. But if I stop the app and restarted it seems to work fine for a bit

Uninstall the update to it , dont let play store update it automatically see if it's ok on previousversion

I turned off the auto update feature for the Google app. Hopefully thatll do something until they fix it

unfortunately this did not work. I even verified that the app was not updated. I went through all the steps in the order that you said to do it and I still get blank pages or anything related to searches. I also have smartnews, it when I click on the article but had her shows up but not the body of the article. Would that help?

Did we try safe mode ?

It's too sporadic.... now my Google Chrome is messing up. I try to open up a page and sometimes the screen just flickers black

Did you try in safe mode ?
