Hey all! I apologize if this has been addressed before.
I have an up to date Verizon S3 and a Kinivo BTC450 bluetooth device. The bluetooth works perfectly for most functions, including picking up calls, conversing, and hanging up; pause/play music, and skipping tracks.
The one thing I cannot get it to do for the life of me is hear my voice when I have the Google Voice Search app running. I tried yelling into both mics (S3 and BT mic) to no avail. I open the app, and it initializes, prompts me to speak, and it doesn't register any sounds. I attempted toggling the "touch sounds" setting on in the settings, as a Youtube video suggested, but it doesn't fix my problem. However, voice typing in any given search field, such as hitting the microphone button on Swiftkey, works PERFECTLY.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. If I can get this fixed, my Kinivo along with my Carhome Ultra app would make driving perfect! Thanks!
