Google Voice Slow, Laggy, Samsung Galaxy S III

The Google Voice app is really slow on my Galaxy S III. When I open the app it can take up to 20 seconds to open. While using the app it's very slow going between conversations, if in a conversation and hit the back button there is a 5-10 second delay before it returns to the Google Voice "home screen". If on the home screen (Voice is already open at this point) and I open a conversation, SLOW, another 5-10 second delay. There isn't ever a difference, or better performance I should say. This is always how it runs. I can't believe I'm even posting a thread like this. I was so excited to get my S III and the app I use more than any other is the slowest app on the phone. Not to mention, A FREAKING GOOGLE APP! I love you Google, no hard feelings please just address this "bug".

I used Google Voice on my HTC Evo 4G and never had any problems like this.

I have been using GV for a year now and have never experience that. Have you tried reinstalling it? Or, have you tried clearing cache, data, etc.?

Thank you, glad to finally be on here!

I have tried uninstall/re-install. Cleared cache, results are the same...

I have been using GV for almost two years between two different Android devices (HTC Evo 4G & Galaxy S3) I never experienced these issues on my Evo. I have left my feedback in the Play market. It's just one of those quirky things that I deal with because I love everything else about the S3 and with two cell phone numbers GV is my best solution.

Is this the only app you are having any issues with?

I wonder what other messaging apps will work with your GV number. Might want to look into that.

Your not the only one... I'm noticing the same thing with GV on my S3 too...
