Google Wallet $10 Credit 10/10 Deadline: Have you used google wallet with your N7 yet?

Mine says 10/17. From email I got:
October 17, 2012: Your Google Prepaid Card will disappear from the Google Wallet app and you won’t be able to spend your balance any longer. Don’t worry, you will be able to request a refund if you have remaining funds by visiting Prepaid Card Program Termination ? Google Wallet.

Wish there was a way to transfer the $10 from Google Wallet to the last of my $25 Google Play balance.

Wish there was a way to transfer the $10 from Google Wallet to the last of my $25 Google Play balance.

I didn't think of this. Does it show up as a payment method in the Play store or is it only available for NFC payments through the Wallet app? I was assuming NFC only which is why I never signed up, although it turns out I should have and used the $10 at a local Starbucks that has bump-pay.

Also thanks for the suggestion above I think I will go to a walgreens or cvs instead and buy $10 worth of crap I don't usually buy, like haloween candy or something stupid, I just really wanted to put some gas in my car lol

I should have and used the $10 at a local Starbucks that has bump-pay.

The very busy and popular Manhattan (NYC) Starbucks didn't have any way to accept NFC/PayPass payments so don't get you hopes up...

This works at Macy's, or at least they accept NFC at Macys' (idk about their policy on android devices).

I reset my device before I remembered the $10 wallet credit. Then I went to Macy's the next day, saw the NFC, and had a d'oh moment.
