Google wallet app issues

Girlfriends n4 will not let her use the wallet

Sent from my Nexus 4 using AC Forums mobile app. Gives the following error

Wallet is unable to proceed until this device is fully initialized. Make sure the device has network access and try rebooting if the problem persists.

Tried rebooting
Tried on and off WiFi
Tried clearing data cache
Tried version that came with phone
Tried latest version on play store
Tried disable then re-enable
Tried to use after making a purchase
Tried factory reset

Anyone else have suggestions?

Wallet can be problematic. Some people have no problems with it, others have never gotten it to work. Personally I've never managed to get a purchase to go through at a POS, but I haven't tried very often. As for your problem, have you set up Wallet online to operate with your phone? I believe there's a setting to do that. Otherwise... um...

I checked online and didnt see a setting for that. I found where i could remove her Nexus 7 from devices.

My overall experience with the wallet on my phone has been good. Ive used it a couple times for breakfast at McDonalds and the CVS around the corner where i work also takes it. Only had one issue at McD's where there was a read error with a line behind me so i just used my card instead. Most of the time i have my phone in hand with me when getting out of a vehicle so its a convenient thing for me. Hoping to get hers working. She's really enjoyed the convenience of android beam. i think she would like this too

I'd check the XDA forums. They have lots of devs posting over there, someone may have a solution for you.
