Google Wallet / Nexus 4 / UK

How do i enable Google Wallet on my Nexus 4?
I'm in the UK if that makes any difference.

As far as I'm aware it's not available yet in the UK, when I tried all I was able to do was to register my interest.

When you say Google wallet I take it you mean being able to make payments using your phone/NFC?

yes that's correct. i can't see any google wallet app in the play store.
yet i go to shops that accept nfc payments and i can't use it !!

Make sure wallet is available in your country. If it isn't, if won't be visible.

apparently it's not in the UK, which is a bit of a kick in the teeth.
and yes, the Nexus 4 has NFC

That's a shame you can't get GWallet in the UK yet...

I know much of Europe is moving to rfid cards which potentially can be activated remotely (within a meter) to capture the card's identity. NFC would be more secure for you so long as you had a means of remote locking in case of cell phone theft.
