Google Wallet no longer updates?

Been using Google Wallet flawlessly for months now, even updated through the Play Store a few weeks ago with the newest version, allowing me to add any card. Today when going to use it it comes up with a popup telling me this version is no longer supported and to update. Now the Play Store is telling me my device isn't compatibile with this version, and won't let me update?

Galaxy Nexus Verizon. Any help greatly appreciated, love this app.

To my understanding Verizon don't like Google wallet and if your rooted your no longer supported and even worse I saw an artical saying Google's pulling the plug on the prepaid Google wallet card so idk anymore man and you mite have to have jelly bean for it idk I don't use Google wallet so I'm all speculative I wish I had an answer good luck

I'm using the Stock ROM, not rooted. I don't use the Prepaid card anymore either. Been running on it fine for a while now, what gives? Can see it installed in the app store and it says update under manage apps, but says my device is not compatible when i try to do so.

I'm on 4.1.1 JR0030 Jelly Bean and now have the same problem as of today... sucks!

Sounds like Verizon Wireless bullying its way onto the Play Store.

New Google Wallet update - Page 2 - xda-developers

Link on that page to the updated .apk! It worked for me. Haven't tested it in actual payment environment yet, but confident things are functioning normally.

Will miss the automatic updates from the Play Store but looks like Verizon is really buttoning down on this whole isis thing. Glad to see I wasn't the only one having problems! Hopefully the above link works for you guys.
