Is there any way of getting this to work on the Design? I've seen instances where models that aren't officially supported are modified to fool Wallet into thinking they are a working model. I've tried APKs from all over and can't even get Wallet to show up in the drawer.

I might be wrong, but doesn't Wallet require an NFC chip which the Design doesn't have?

I just purchased an app the other day and at the bottom of the screen it said "powered by Google Wallet"

I know we can't get the actual Google Wallet app, but the phone is using it for app purchases, apparently.

Google Wallet will allow you to load CC information onto your phone so that you can pay for items at Point Of Sale terminals by passing the phone in front of it. An NFC chip is required.
