Got a Gold Backplate for my Verizon G3 :).

Got it off of Ebay; it looks and feels just like the OEM backplate; i wouldn't doubt that its an OEM piece actually.



It was pretty cheap too, just $18

I just bought different color Spigen Thin Armor cases instead. That way, I'm still using all factory parts but getting different color backs.

i thought about that, but i didn't like the Spigen Thin Armor case. I wanted a clear case to show off the back; and then Ebay had the gold backplates available..so i thought why not

The only thing I don't like about it is that the volume and power buttons are black. The contrast isn't working. >.<

Was about to say the same thing, the rest looks good, but that isn't working for me. Was half contemplating doing the same...I'll pass now

The power buttons aren't black; rather a dark gray. I actually like the contrast..it looks nice in person .

Your phone looks nice . I wanted white, but Costco isn't selling the white one...and i didn't wanna pay $144 at the Verizon corporate store for it vs. $114 at Costco. I actually like the all black front on the Verizon version...makes the screen look even bigger than it really is.

I think black is nicer...just change the button and lens cover.

Yeah i didn't like black at first, but its really grown on me. The rest of the body is metallic gray, which provides a nice contrast.
