when i get to the hboot screen and click recovery i get a phone with a red signal and i get stuck their.

Have you flashed anything presently???

Is that as far as your EVO boots???

Little bit more info on your part would help us figure it out for you.

Yeah it still work but my custom rom is gone and back to stock. my phone is not broke but i think i just lost my recovery.

for some reason whenever i entered bootloader it kept saying you want to update then reboot i always click no and this one time i clicked yes and this what i get lol

i think i have to remove the pc36 file

Yes the PC36IMG is what is causing that. Just remove it and it won't happen again.

Need help with putting a new recovery on or are you good on that?

i just put a new one in my sd root and go into hboot and follow the steps?

i got 2 pc36 files btw, ones pc36.eng

Just have the one you need. I wouldn't do it with two. Don't know what the out come of that would be. lol

You using Amon RA? If so the bootlaoder way is easy. Just put it on the card and let the phone do the rest. Just remember to remove it so you don't end up in this situation again

k it worked im on RA v2.3

what should i do now, i don't see unzip from sd so i can get to my custom roms

Yes, flash away. Remember to wipe when in recovery. data, cache, & dalvik

Because you lost everything, yes. Your rom and add ons need to be flashed again.

If you are installing a backup that had everything already included then no.

No im not installing a backup, i unzipped the files and i been on the white screen for a while now, i know it takes a little longer but im going to give it another couple mins then im going to do a battery pull

Um ok, don't unzip the files when you are wanting to flash them.


Yes when changing roms it does take a little while to for it to run its thing.

my bad i didn't mean unzip, im use to Clockwork Recovery. i did flash it then returned and reboot

1 more thing , how do i change the font? i went to the link you sent earlier and picked one out that i liked and when i flash it it always fails. weird.

i just flashed Comfortaa and i think it would look really good with Myn's.

but yeah im really looking forward to see what yours looks like
