Got a Mate 9 on Sunday

So far so good, it seems pretty awesome. I could go for some Wireless Charging, but other than that the phone is pretty perfect.

I've been really drawn to the Mate 9 since it came out and someone has just offered me a straight swap for his brand new Mate 9 for my s8. I'm still sorely tempted but I think I'd miss the Always On Display too much and the wireless charging. That's the only things stopping me tbh. Well that and the fact the Mate 10 is due soon and I'll probably want that too

Ironically....my TV went out and I searched my my Mate 9 hoping I still had downloads on Amazon and/or Netflix, and it seemed huge. I was a little disappointed when I got the 8+ because it didn't seem BIGGER, just TALLER, just like you said.

If I didn't need the WiFi calling where I've just recently moved, or I'd still be using the Mate.

Well that and the fact the Mate 10 is due soon and I'll probably want that too

Well that makes the decision a little easier. I'm actually getting tired of the new tall/skinny phones. I had the s8+ then LG G6 and now the regular s8 and I'm just wanting a nice big 16:9 phone again for a while and to be able to use the phone in landscape when Web browsing etc too without it looking like a narrow letter box

Yup, it is so nice to be back on 16:9

Also, Amazon had one of those deals where you only pay $100 a month until it is paid off

Gotta love Amazon for delivery....i paid $6.75 for a router and it was delivered same day for free! How do they do it?


It does depend on where you are though... Maybe the mate 9 was further from where you are so they couldn't offer free same day delivery.

well I ordered it at 10pm on Saturday, so it would have been same day if I had ordered it earlier.
