Got a new Note Edge, want to keep the camera shutter button on the edge screen

I just bought a brand new AT&T Note Edge online after my old one was stolen. Being that it is absolutely brand new, it still has the original Android version on it that had a lot of the camera controls, including the shutter, positioned on the edge screen.

With my old phone, when one of the AT&T updates was pushed to the phone, it moved the shutter button to the main screen. Initially I didn't like having the button on the edge screen, but I learned to really like it being there, so I did not like it when the software update moved it to the main screen.

I plan to activate this phone on Sprint instead of AT&T, because it seems like they have better plans now. But, my question is, is there any way to keep the shutter button on the edge screen? I'm worried that once I activate my phone, it will start getting all kinds of updates pushed to it, and I'll lose the shutter button being on the edge screen, which I really like, and I want to try to keep on this phone.

Is there any kind of camera application file that I can copy off of the phone now and then put back on once it's updated to get the shutter button back where I want it?

Thanks.

If that phone gets updated it's going to move that shutter button. That was irritating as hell because myself and quite a few people enjoyed having it on the Edge screen.
