Android Central Question

Hi,

I have AA which we use okay for i30.

Just got a KW99 smart watch which uses an App 'wiiwatch' to connect with the phone.

I wondered why it wouldn't work but now I see that when I try to connect Bluetooth using wiiwatch on the phone (Galaxy Note 8), the Auto Android app opens up, so I can't see the wiiwatch app.

The usual is that the watch shows it is available for BT connection and shows the password number. This is also shown on the phone and if the number corresponds I click it and the phone opens up the wiiwatch app.

My problem is the password on the phone only shows for a millisecond then the Auto Android opens up and I can't click the password meaning my watch app can't open.

Any suggestions please?

Thanks

In Android Auto, is the watch set as the trigger device to launch Android Auto?

Hi and thanks.
I haven't set the watch up with anything to do with Auto A which I have had for about a year and is set for our 2 phones.. Galaxy B4 and Note 8.

It was when I started setting the phone up to go with the KW99 phone that Auto A started opening.

I will go check to see if there has been any change in the Auto A phone App.

I put the question out to some other volunteers. I don't have any experience with linking AA to a vehicle and this watch sounds like it's doing its own thing compared to AndroidWear (which I'm familiar with).
