Hi All,

I got an OTA update a few days ago, sized about 84 MB.
After the update, the Android version didn't change and stayed on 4.1.2. See attached files.
The bad thing is that since the update, the phone get stuck at least 1-2 times a day, requiring a reboot to get back to normal.

Anyone knows what is this update?

Thanks!

It may be a patch, or prep for the next version of Android they will be sending out. You can try to clear cache in recovery, that may help. Here is how: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...ing-into-recovery-mode-galaxy-s2-s3-tab2.html

Thanks Golfdriver97!

I did the cache wipe and I hope it will solve the freezing problem.
Waiting for 4.3 now... supposed to be released next month if I heard right, no?

I am honestly not sure. Supposedly it is, but that is rumor. I have a custom ROM on mine, and in the next few days the developer says that the 4.3 release should be ready.
