Got Moto Display functionality

Coming from a MotoX, my biggest gripe with the Pixel was the lack of Moto like AD. An earlier thread recommended Ambiturner. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it brings 90% of the functionality I've been missing. My Pixel is now perfect for me!
If you're an ex Moto user, give this a try...

Thanks for the info! I loved this feature on the Moto X and might give it a go on the Pixel. Going to try and do as much tinkering as I can without ruining the phone since I am coming from the prison cell that is iOS.

No impact on battery. I used the free version for a week, then bought the paid version as it has some additional features and I really wanted to support the dev. It is not intrusive and plays well with native double tap/lift to wake in the last update.

This is good news, thanks! Did you ever use Moto Voice much? Does the Pixel offer similar functionality?

I did use Moto Voice and it was great that it knew when I was driving. Nothing like it on the Pixel. There's another thread here with a suggestion for an App for that.
I abandoned the Moto's because of size and the update cycle drove me nuts.
If the 2 Moto features were on this phone, it would be perfect...

Yeah mentioned this in a previous reply but I used every function Moto had to offer. Glad to see nearly all of it has come to Pixel. After just 3 days with it, I've already gotten used to it.

I too was sick of a 5.7 inch screen and no updates. The holiday sale at Verizon was too good to pass up.
