Got my Active 2

I got mine. Still need pictures? Also I noticed that the LTE version still needs to turn on touch bezel. So I'm thinking it doesn't have the latest update

I hesitated getting the WA2 because of the lack of mst, but I always have my phone with me in case I need the mst. My S3 is the LTE version but my only usable band where I live is 71 and the S3 doesn't have band 71. In fact none of the Samsung LTE watches have band 71 so I'm used to Bluetooth being my watch/phone connection.

I've only had this watch for a few days but so far I think its a solid upgrade over my S3.

This is me 100% once I get out of the habit of using the watch when they don't have a reader.

You have a GWA2 with LTE?
I didn't think those were available, yet.

They just came out not to long ago.
Reading on the other threads, some are experiencing big issues. One member cannot even get it activated on Verizon and they sold it to him.

ETA, oh wait! That's you!

k Verizon finally called back and was able to activate the watch. So now I can fully enjoy it.

That's great to hear. I seriously considered the LTE version but I have my phone with me pretty much all the time. Maybe down the road I'll get a smartwatch with LTE.

And another bit of good news. I just got the GPS bug fix and improvement update. And to be honest while I actually use the LTE for walks without my phone while I'm on-call at work. I like the stainless steel silver a lot better than the aluminum cloud silver.

That's why I originally got LTE on my Series 3 Apple Watch. I wanted the space black stainless steel. Once I had it though, I really liked having the LTE.

Looks like I'm on track to hit a solid 3 days. I'm more than happy with that. I took the watch off the charger at 11:30 on the 24th. Since then it automatically track 3 exercise sessions and it's still at 55%. Not bad in my book.

This was 2 days ago. 4 hours after taking it off the charger and after a 30 minute run, it was at 98%.20191024_155519.jpg

I put my GWA2 on the charger at 7:00pm last night. It lasted 3 days 7 1/2 hours. This is awesome because I was hoping for at least 2 days.

Following this thread because I'm looking for a smartwatch with LTE. It would be my first, and I'm just learning about them.
I am currently using an Asus Zenfone 6, and wonder if I would get full functionality with a Samsung watch?
I looked the Ticwatch Pro LTE. It looks nice, but only on Verizon and I have AT&T.

Thanks

Do you know if the LTE Active2's sold at Verizon are actually Unlocked? I'm having a hard time finding one locally & considering heading to Verizon. I do not have Verizon as my carrier.

Not sure about the unlocked part but I do know that the watch works better for Samsung's phones. So that should be your 1st clue.
