Definitely black for me

I was gonna give the grey a try since every single phone I've had was black. Glad I ordered an orchid grey case though. Maybe that will give me the hint of purple I long for.

Right. That's one good thing about it being all black in the front and the camera area. Once a case is on, you have no idea what color the phone is. You can have as many colors as Baskin-Robbins has flavors!

I still use 2 Note 4's and I won't give them up! So I will buy the Note 8 outright, "NOte" trades! I really wanted coral blue, oh well...

Same, I have 1 Note 4, will only offer 25% for a Note 4. I will keep my Note 4 for backup. I also wanted Coral Blue, but the black is fine, I always use a case so color is not a big deal. I pre-ordered through Best buy, not a bad price.

Care to explain in detail? I've got a Note 5... if Verizon gives me 50% off, I might consider the Note 8. Post your detailed differences that make the Note 8 the one to trade up to. ?????? Btw... My Note 5 is fast, great display, excellent phone reception!

The Note 8 has a bigger battery, expandable storage, a better display, faster performance/better processor, more RAM, IP68 water resistance, iris scanner, facial scanner, Knox security, more attractive design, always on display, better camera, and probably more that I'm forgetting about. The Note 8 is better in every way than the Note 5 aside from durability.
