Got my HTC Evo yesterday ask if you have any questions!

The window that says "desk clock" (the one with the weather) does not have landscape mode. The window with just the clock (the sleep mode) works with landscape.

I didn't see this posted. Will the alarm clock work in landscape mode with the kickstand out?

macro?

how's the macro for the camera? I've read through the whole thread, I don't think i've seen that question before. Does the camera have multiple "scene" modes?

Thanks for the info. I love my Pre, but it's been a year, it's old news :)

Its ok, I can't say that its awsome as it just does ok.

Is the phone book for the phone "google" contacts or is the phone book seperate?
Can you import contacts from other sources, ie. Outlook.?

do you have any low reception area? if so, id like to see if it jams up when switching signals like my blackberry

There's a 16 gb class 4 micro sd card made by Topram you can get from Amazon or Buy.com for around $40 with shipping. I'm looking at getting that for my Evo. Anyone have any experience with that brand? There's a small number of reviews, so I am unsure of it's quality.

I have a 32GB TopRam Class-10. I took it on vacation to Cozumel, Mexico in my Kodak PlaySport camera. It's extremely fast and i haven't had any issues w/ reliability.

The PlaySport is a waterproof (up to 10 feet) HD (up to 1080p vid and 5mp still) camera. So I had this card under water, in the sand, and even dropped out of a moving car once (one drunken night). At any rate, I'm not sure whether to attribute the durability to the camera or the SD. Could be both.

All and all, I've had no issues with the quality and durability of my Topram SD card.

Here's the link to it.

I'm pretty sure that's a BlackBerry-only phenomenon.

My treo 655 and 700p also suffered from this phenomenon...I thought BB would cure it....but it just got worse...

My curve wasn't as bad...but the Tour 9630 and the bold 9650 are HORRIBLE !!

I was wondering , since Nexus 1 , Incredible and Droid all have haptic feedback , does EVO have it too ? For both screen and capacitive buttons . I am not sure if it would increase the battery drain ( probably would , though ) but i`d like to get some sort of response when at least pressing the capacitive buttons .

Yea, I think i read in a review that you do...and it's about half as strong as a normal vibrate

Yes both the on screen keyboard and the capacitive buttons have haptic feedback.
