Got my January Update (AT&T)

I have one white button but I can hold it down and move it and it takes multiple pics. Don't know if that is new or not but I just noticed it. I accidentally did it and it made the noise of taking pics over and over and I'm like wtf did I do lol. I like it tho. I'm on Verizon.

that's it. it's new for me. it will take just one shot too. nice to know it's for multiples too. thank you!

Re: Got my January Update (AT&T)

Got it yesterday and I have noticed no slow down what so ever... So far

Usually you read posts about updates from Europe or other carriers before I would see it come to AT&T but got notification and told it to install. Don't know the size but I see it's the January update. Hope it has bug fixes and helped past issues on freeze/reboots.

Got my update two days ago and it completely ruined the picture galleries on my s7 phone. It is driving me crazy! I have AT&T. Nothing is working like it should. What ever 'bug' is supposed to be fixed...it layed eggs with this lousy update!

Just flashed the update on my sprint note like getting monthly security patches in the same month they are released.

Interesting, I see the choice now, but mine is "Off" - not sure why yours defaulted to "On"?

me neither, though I suppose I could have accidentally turned it on while checking things after the update. all I really care about is the signal, the battery, and the camera. as long as they work, I'm happy. I've had previous updates create issues with my other camera app so I always check to see if they both work and the settings haven't changed.

T-Mobile sent their update out today! amyf27 started a thread announcing it this morning! That means...

THEY DID IT! AT&T, Sprint, Verizon AND T-Mobile were all able to get the January Security Update out in January! THIS IS INCREDIBLE!

great minds. :D

this is a first for me. I've been on-board since the note 3 and I'm impressed this time around.

I just looked at the "Software Upgrade" information box that amyf27 showed in her post and the Baseband Version for the T-Mobile Update was BQJA. She hasn't installed it yet so no one is sure yet if it is, indeed, the January Security Patch, as our Baseband Version is BRA8. I deleted my original post and apologize for posting before researching my data thoroughly beforehand - I am 67 after all!

I'm sure they'll get it done soon. and I'm fairly close in age... we all make mistakes. no harm, no foul. I need one of your shrugs. ;)
