I've got to say that this is a nice little phone, especially for an older mom.

It is very lightweight and it has a much better battery than the Rezound. The call quality is very good and the speaker phone is much better than the Rezound. Oh, an it is 4G Jelly Bean as well.

The colors in the Rezound are better, but overall, this is a great little phone AND it was free.

There was a deal for the note 2 for $50, imo, that would have been a better deal.

I don't think elderly mums want a huge phone to hold on too.
They got it free too, so there was no point buying it.
Great phone, nonetheless.

Yeah, the Note would be way too big for my mom. It is almost too big for me. I actually wish the DNA had just a bit better specs, because that is kind of the perfect size for me.

Anyway, the Lucid 2 is perfect for my mom. She loves it.

dpham00, where did you see that $50 Note deal?

I know some older people who prefer the note 2 due to its size, because their vision isn't great. Different needs for different folks of course.

I got my note 2 for $37, but that was due to a price matching error. Still, one could have gotten the note 2 from best buy price match to sams club for $100, and gotten the $50gc from best buy if you signed up for it, making the final price $50.
