Got my Pixel 6 Pro/XL case

I found a case on Amazon so I ordered it to see what the size would feel like. Here's a couple pictures of my pixel 5 and 3xl cases next to the 6 case. It's going to be a big phone. Not sure how I feel about that since I really liked how the 5 felt in the hand. The 3xl was decently heavy, I can only imagine how the 6 pro will be with the added camera bump.

It's pretty rare rumors are false these days but you never know.

The case looks like the same manufacturer for a case I used on my Moto Z4 for a year, same internal pattern.

Thanks for the comparison, I'm currently using a 3xl and I thought there'd be a bigger difference in size.... that actually looks doable for me. Like somebody else mentioned though I do wonder about the thickness with the camera bump. That's going to be quite the pocket filler lol.

Yeah and I'm worried it won't work with a couple of my mounts or charging pads.

I'm also thinking it's just a crying shame to put a case on that beautiful phone... But it's so necessary! Maybe clear ones? But yes, that bump looks pretty big...

Are you currently using a 5? If so, perhaps you could try putting it into the 6 case and place on a charging pad to see if the lift created by the camera bump interferes with charging.

This is a really helpful post, thanks! I was also wondering about the size, but that's only slightly longer than the 3 XL. My 3 XL died, so I'm currently using a Galaxy A32 5G, and when I compared specs recently, I was surprised to see that it's pretty much the same size as the Pixel 6 Pro. So I'm already pretty much used to that size.

@Scott337, I think the fact that an established case company made this (I'm not sure of the brand, but that diamond logo looks really familiar) tells us that the dimensions are true, since these companies get the specs well before the phone is announced.

GSM Arena has the specs listed for Pixel 6 "Pro" based on current leaks (I'm sure other sites have it as well):

Unless specs wise the only difference between the smaller and bigger pro model is a telephoto camera, I may go for the "smaller". Also I read somewhere the Pro will have a plastic display compared to the smaller one. Something about cost cutting. I can't find the link now.

Anyway time will tell but I'm excited to see what's in store!

Other reported differences. From early info the 6 PRO gets 12gb PIXEL 6 8gb or RAM

I have a Pixel 5 and found a Pixel 6, not PRO/XL, case on Amazon - it will be here tomorrow - anxious to see the size difference. I intend to get a P6 regular when they are released.

Kinda like the orange stripe.

Yikes. It appears that the regular P6 will be significantly larger than the P5. I can only imagine how large the pro will be. I'll be passing on the P6 anyways because I'm very happy with my P5. I don't think I'll be wanting anything larger than the P5 going forward.

If you have a wireless charger, have you checked the Hump for interference between the phone and the charger back, if in the portrait position.

That's a good analogy for size. I'm so glad I went for the 5 though. The 6 line looks like it's way too big for me.
